Job Summary



  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cloud Solutions Architect in the SMB segment, focusing on cloud engineering and adoption in the MEA region.
  • You will work closely with our sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies, drive consumption growth, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Your expertise in cloud infrastructure and platform solutions will enable you to advise customers on new workloads, migration, and optimization strategies.
  • You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs, and developing tailored solutions to drive their success.
  • You will also collaborate with our Cloud Adoption Manager to ensure customer adoption health and experience.

Key Responsibilities



  • Orchestrate all technical activities in assigned accounts and lead presales activities.
  • Actively participate in defining account strategy, executing, and driving consumption growth.
  • Be accountable for the successful experience of customers in your territory.
  • Understand customer portfolios, IT, and business priorities, and establish solutions that address their needs.
  • Drive effectiveness and impact in engaging with customers and become a trusted advisor.
  • Inform customers and prospects on Oracle's emerging technologies and how they can build value and differentiation.
  • Present Oracle technology, demonstrating deep familiarity with infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities.
  • Act as a single point of contact for cloud engineering-related aspects and engage the Oracle Cloud technology team to support solution creation.
  • Lead activities and teams to help position the value of Oracle's Cloud and meet customer expectations.

Requirements and Qualifications



  • Broad technical experience in cloud infrastructure and platform solutions, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including delegating activities and involving the right teams/skill sets.
  • Clear ability to articulate Oracle Cloud offerings and discuss architectures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking across all levels of management.
  • Experience in understanding complex customer ecosystems and translating customer needs into workable solutions.
  • Familiarity with 3rd party and Oracle Architecture frameworks.
  • High-level commercial business understanding and ability to identify key trends and insights.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders and building relationships to grow business.
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written (French in French-speaking Africa).
