Job Description

This Diagnostic Imaging Professional Overnight position requires working 24-hour shifts on a regular basis, with every other weekend off. You will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for exams, including positioning, instructing, and obtaining informed consent as necessary.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as computed radiography and direct imaging devices, to produce high-quality images.
  • Evaluate images to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
  • Position patients and equipment to achieve optimal image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Select proper technical factors and calculate dosages to achieve desired image results.
  • Assist physicians with specialized examinations, such as preparing equipment and administering contrast media.
  • Document patient information, exam details, and image quality metrics accurately and efficiently.
