Boilermaker Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team at Oxyon Human Capital Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying out, fitting, and fabricating metal components, as well as assembling structural forms and performing welding tasks.

• Lay out and fabricate metal components according to drawings and specifications.
• Assemble structural forms, including construction of conveyors, platforms, and structures.
• Perform welding tasks using cutting torches, Tig, stick, and Mig welding.
• Use hand and power tools, read and use measuring equipment, and work according to engineering drawings.
• Conduct surface preparation prior to welding and construct jigs with close tolerances.
• Inspect work performed and identify defects.
• Develop and fabricate various shapes and equipment, including square to round and lobster back shapes.

• Grade 12 or N3 qualification.
• Boilermaker trade certification.
• 3-5 years' experience as a qualified Boilermaker.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.
• Exposure to conveyors, boiler, and steam systems is an advantage.

The successful candidate will be required to work overtime and standby as and when required. They will also be responsible for handling and moving objects, inspecting equipment, and performing other tasks as required.
