Lubrication Specialist

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician - Lubrication Specialist at Assign Services (Pty) Ltd - JHB, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our plant's equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective lubrication programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

1. Design and implement lubrication plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
2. Liaise with maintenance assistants, production team leaders, engineering stores coordinator, and artisans to achieve maximum plant availability.
3. Identify and report any plant risks, such as equipment malfunctions or potential safety hazards.
4. Assist in the execution of maintenance activities, including breakdowns and planned work.

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a heavy engineering and continuous manufacturing process environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
