Job Description:
As a Shaft Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of underground facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your mechanical engineering skills in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of shaft maintenance, including routine checks, repairs, and upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in hard rock/underground environments as a Shaft Engineer or equivalent
• Valid Trade Test: Mechanical/Electrical
• GCC (Mines & Works) qualification
• Matric certification
• Strong mechanical engineering background and understanding of electrical systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
