Job Requirements

The role of the Lecturer involves delivering training and education to students, providing support to the Academic department, and contributing to the institution's mission. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, knowledge of the relevant discipline, and experience in guidance and counselling.

Key Tasks

  1. Presenting content in a class environment
  2. Briefing students for assignments and projects
  3. Marking assessments and providing feedback
  4. Developing and implementing intervention programmes for at-risk students

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's/Honours/Masters Degree in the relevant lecturing discipline
  • NQF level 6 qualification in Education (PGDHE or equivalent) an added advantage
  • Training and Development an added advantage

Competencies

  • Knowledge and understanding of the South African higher education systems and regulatory framework
  • Ability to work with and learn more about digitalized academic platforms
  • Ability to cope with a frequently changing environment and adapt to evolving situations
