Responsibilities
  • Purchasing: Source premium frozen commodities from international suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Export: Advise on and execute export processes and regulations related to the sector, guaranteeing compliance.
  • Negotiation: Develop strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain effective communication throughout the supply chain.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory requirements in the sector, helping to drive business growth.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee logistics, ensure timely delivery, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in international frozen commodity buying or trading.
  • Qualifications: Matric Certificate; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
