About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join The Recruitment Council as a Platform Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with fund managers, stockbrokers, and discretionary fund managers from a Wealth platform perspective.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Business Relationship Management: Strive to maintain strong, effective relationships with asset managers, ensuring alignment with the Wealth strategy.
  2. Wealth Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with asset managers to implement the Wealth strategy, fostering growth and mutual benefits.
  3. Operational Due Diligence: Co-ordinate and manage the operational due diligence process for new investment components on the platforms.
  4. Data Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date fund management data on the platform, leveraging the fund administration team's support.
  5. Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Contribute to the sourcing and evaluation of deals, as well as their structuring, implementation, and stakeholder management, via the Deal Forum.
  6. Intermediary Partner Engagement: Build strong relationships with key intermediary partners, optimising their experience and driving mutual business success.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification(s) – BCom Economics / Investment Management / Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years' institutional investment experience with client-facing responsibilities.
  • CFP accreditation would be advantageous.
