Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, executing, and monitoring of regulatory dossier submissions and mutual recognition submissions within Sub-Saharan countries
  • Coordinate importing permits required for trial samples for all approved projects
  • Ensure that applications and submission processes meet internal Rovensa Next standard and crop protection regulatory legislations within designated countries
  • Participate in the regulatory agency review process of the dossiers
  • Verify that labels meet local regulations for each country within Sub-Saharan countries
  • Maintain updated regulatory folders and file correspondence from authorities
  • Support the commercial team with updated safety data sheets and labels, collaborating with global safety and labelling teams
  • Collaborate with other country regulatory specialists to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Honours degree in a scientific discipline (minimum), preferably a Master of Science degree
  • Previous experience in handling trial reports and data
  • Ability to write and review scientific reports
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent analytical and data consolidation skills
  • Understanding of the crop protection industry
  • Membership in SACNASP (South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions) or willingness to enrol
  • Proficiency in English (ability to communicate in other languages beneficial)
  • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office; statistical data programmes)

A market-related remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience.
