IT Business Analyst - Credit

Join Plus1X Solutions (Pty) Ltd as an IT Business Analyst - Credit and contribute to the success of our organization by defining requirements and product configurations for the Murex product suite, focusing on Murex Limits Controller and Basel II Credit Capital Calculator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Requirements: Develop an in-depth understanding of credit processes, systems, and functional requirements to define requirements and product configurations for the Murex product suite.
  • Develop Business Solutions: Maintain and enhance business processes for Credit, aligning with business changes and objectives, and assess the impact of proposed projects on business operations and IT systems.
  • Conduct Analysis: Conduct end-to-end analysis of Credit systems and dependencies, identify and document gaps between current and future states, and propose process improvements.
  • Document Processes: Document end-to-end Credit process flows, including activities, inputs, outputs, and resources, and assist in translating business needs into Murex system functionality.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with Technical Designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications, oversee functional, integration, and user acceptance testing, and interface with Business Analysts and Project Managers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Degree: Relevant degree or qualification.
  • Excellent Excel Skills: Excellent Excel skills for creating and maintaining test packs and scenarios.
  • Practical Experience: 2-5 years of practical experience in major projects related to the credit business.
  • Strong Background: Strong background in implementing business solutions (build and buy).
  • Technical Discussions: Ability to engage in technical discussions.
  • Preferred Experience: Preferred experience in the investment banking sector.
