We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to drive our AI strategy and lead the development of predictive models that enhance business performance.

About Us

Plus1X Solutions (Pty) Ltd is a dynamic organization dedicated to leveraging data science and machine learning to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement predictive models and intelligent algorithms to support improved decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver predictive models into production environments.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of state-of-the-art principles and techniques in data science.
  • Educate others on machine learning models, NLP, Deep Learning, and best practices for data science.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at Executive and senior management levels.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline or STEM field with a focus on Machine Learning.
  • Honours Degree or equivalent with relevant technical qualifications and 8 years of experience.
  • Relevant experience in data science, machine learning, and deploying developed solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Proficiency in reproducible coding, working with relational and non-relational databases, and at least one machine learning language.
  • Experience working in cloud environments.
