Main Accountabilities
  • Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain a portfolio of fiber infrastructure suppliers to ensure transparency and effective communication.
  • Fiber Acceptance Testing: Conduct thorough testing and validation of fiber performance characteristics to ensure compliance with Meta standards.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate and manage build projects, engineering, and construction firms.
  • Metrics Analysis: Analyze key metrics for infrastructure projects, including on-time performance, vendor performance, monthly and yearly activated services, and financial performance.
  • New Project Identification: Work closely with Network Development Managers and Planning Teams to identify new project opportunities, potential partners/vendors, and high-level project budgets.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects through pre-planning, planning, and partnership efforts.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control measures for project management system updates and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field with at least 5 years of experience in network deployment fiber projects.
  • Experience in terrestrial fiber network design and technology, preferably in both long-haul and metro networks.
  • Negotiation skills and experience in problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Docs Suite, with experience using spreadsheet tools and/or programs.
  • Experience preparing and presenting quantitative and qualitative comparative analysis and reports.
  • Detail-oriented with experience managing multiple cross-functional tasks and projects.
