Job Title: Technician

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team at Profile Personnel. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair a wide range of tools and machines across various divisions.
  • Conduct fault finding and identify spares required for internal and external repairs.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including job cards and stock management.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and sales teams regarding equipment condition and performance.
  • Ensure accurate and frequent replenishment of boot stock spares.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills.
  • Travel to and assist branches as needed.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues.
  • Assist sales teams with demonstrations and product showcases.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' technical experience in the industrial sector.
  • Electrical trade certification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing or process environments.
  • Technical aptitude and mechanical exposure.
  • Matric pass.
  • Post-matric electrical or technical qualification (preferable).
  • Mechanical or process theory exposure (preferable).
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-confidence and composure under pressure.
  • Expressive and passionate about technical tasks.
  • Ability to deal effectively with customers at all levels.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to extract specifics.
  • Ability to develop lasting personal relationships.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to take control of product or process trials.
  • Ability to prepare ahead of tasks and construct mind maps.
