Project Manager Role at Lesedi Nuclear Services

This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall performance and success of medium-sized nuclear projects. As a Nuclear Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize project profitability: Maximize revenue while minimizing costs to achieve optimal project profitability.
  • Manage project timeline: Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain quality standards: Ensure that all project deliverables meet contractual quality requirements.
  • Safety management: Maintain a zero-harm safety standard for personnel, equipment, and the environment.
  • Contract management: Effectively manage project contracts to optimize Lesedi's entitlements.
  • Project execution: Lead projects through kick-off, execution, and closure phases.
  • Team collaboration: Collaborate with the project team and client to drive successful project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Technician (Engineering diploma - ND), Technologist (Technical engineering degree or HND), or Engineer (B.Sc. Engineering degree) with relevant experience.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of suitable subject experience, with 2 years of Project Management experience at Level 1.
  • Competencies: Knowledge of project management principles, contract management, planning principles, and project management software; skills in stakeholder relationship building, result-driven approach, technical competence, and proficiency with computer systems and project management tools.

Compensation:

We offer an attractive salary range of approximately R850,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement fund contributions, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
