Job Description- Inspect and certify the perishable products.
- Inspect the handling, storage and transportation of perishable products.
- Perform administrative tasks.
- Build and maintain good relations with internal and external clients.
- Communication with various clients on own specific tasks and outcome of decisions.
- Job Requirements- A tertiary qualification in an agriculture or food science qualification.
- National Certificate: Perishable Products Export Technology would be advantageous.
- Practical experience of products inspected in the relevant region would be advantageous i.e. Citrus, macadamias, avocados, minor products and container loading (equivalent to 50 technical credits).
- Soft skills - 15 credits.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- The ability to work independently and /or with minimum supervision.
- A valid code 08 driving licence and own reliable vehicle is a requirement for doing the job.
