JOB DUTIES: - Lead/Assist the Teacher to create, manage and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. - Assist the teacher to create and deliver lesson plans, implement the school curriculum, and use data to create, monitor and implement a personalized learning plan for each student. - Maintain a safe and healthy environment. - Execute effective classroom management. - Participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff to promote rigorous learning opportunities, the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body. - Actively participate in professional development, practice self-assessment, reflective practice and strive for continuous improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree (4 year college degree)

2 years previous teaching experience

AMI or AMS Montessori Certification

Ability to be in America to start by August 2023

One year commitment (contract)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: R723,427.20 - R813,855.60 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
