- Anova is looking for a Psychosocial Counsellors to be responsible for the day-to-day provision of HIV Counselling and Testing services and other site activities such as: Hepatitis, TB and STI’s screening, conducting outreach, providing harm reduction services, documenting human rights violations, mobilising and referring potential clients for treatment and further care._

**Key duties and responsibilities.**
- Mobilise clients in the community for HIV Testing Services (HTS).
- Provide counselling for STI's targeting selected key population groups.
- Screen all clients for Hepatitis, TB and STI.
- Administer questionnaire to clients.
- Conduct health literacy education.
- Ensure compliance of quality assurance procedures.
- Support clients with linkage and adherence.
- Report study activities.
- Assist with data capturing of HTS activities as and when required.

**Minimum qualifications, experience and skills required.**
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Training in Basic HAST, HIV Counselling, Adherence Counselling.
- Knowledge of DoH HTS guidelines & protocols.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team.
- Willing to travel to various communities as and when required.
- Previously worked with key populations, especially PWUD Community.
- Good Counselling skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to use tablets for data collection.
- Experience in administering research questionnaires.
- Positive attitude and sensitive to working with people who inject drugs.
- Good Report writing skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including task and time management, ability to multi-task, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work without supervision.
