Our Client a leading South African institute is seeking a Senior Specialist - Trusts to join their team in Cape town. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with excellent benefits.

Our Client wishes to recruit a highly skilled, experienced, dynamic and result oriented Senior Specialist with extensive knowledge and experience in the design and support of Process and Product Improvements for the Trust product.
- The design and facilitation of the implementation of innovative product strategies/designs
- The design and establishment of new processes that translates user requirements into system functions
- The evaluation and optimization of operational systems for improved compliance, revenue collection and taxpayer experience
- To attend and participate competently in technical meetings and to compile and review process and system enhancement documentation.

Job Purpose
- To lead innovation and manage continuous process improvement and the design of multi-faceted business process solutions across the business process management life cycle of Trusts. To provide insight and ensure compliance with all new and proposed legislation (including influencing legislation) to achieve sustainable business results in support of the enterprise strategy

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
- Relevant Honours / Postgraduate Diploma (NQF 8) AND 10-12 years' experience in the trust environment with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience at a specialist level

ALTERNATIVE #
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) AND 15 years' experience in the trust environment with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience at a specialist level

Preference will be given to Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering qualifications (with in-depth know how of systems /design thinking and implementation) or CA/Law with Trust qualification

Job Outputs:
Process
- Influence the legislative direction of the Trust products and its end-to-end process value chain and to facilitate the implementation of legal changes and other enhancements.
- Research and benchmark the Trust product and process best practices and trends.
- Conceptualise, formulate and socialise the Trust product strategies and influence the enterprise strategy relating to this product.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand the Trust product and processes from the perspective of taxpayers and other stakeholders.
- Envisage the future of the Trust product and processes.
- Monitor, analyse and identify product gaps and areas for improvement for the Trust product.
- Direct and assume accountability for the design of standardised Trust product and process functions and features (enhancements and APP initiatives);
- Direct and assume accountability for the design of the Trust product, policies and procedures.
- Draft Trust product and process initiative proposals and business cases;
- Monitor, analyse and identify product gaps and areas for improvement for the Trust product.
- Conduct revenue analysis and reporting for the Trust products;
- Develop Trust Skills where required and
- Monitor product and process performance, benefit realisation and compliance

Governance
- Processes & Governance
- Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional objectives in partnership with leadership.
- Direct, control, coordinate and optimise budgeted resources to meet specific objectives and deliver agreed results and productivity requirements.
- Ensure the development and implementation of multiple practices in alignment with operational policy and procedural frameworks.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to continuously improve all functions and systems in line with national, regional and organisational changes
- Plan for handling work outputs, pull together interdependent activities and specify priorities, standards & procedures to ensure tactical excellence.
- Proactively identify interconnected problems, determine its impact and use this to develop best fit alternatives; driving best practice solutions.
- Provide periodic reports on performance against plan & progress on short-term initiatives & use to realign tactical plan and objectives appropriately.
- Use the insights gained through integrated business reports to measure success & realign tactical strategy development objectives appropriately.
- Recommend changes to optimise processes, systems, policies and procedures, and direct the implementation of change and innovation initiated by the organisation
- Manage multiple internal Executive stakeholders and external industry leaders/innovators.
- Manage the design of multilayer solutions (strategy to lowest level detail) to complex enterprise problems
