Junior Electrician

Full knowledge of electrical control systems, procedures to perform routine preventive maintenance and responds to call outs and breakdowns when required.

Responsibilities : Electrical Installation ; Maintenance ; wiring of electrical circuits ; ensuring compatibility of components. Testing and Fault finding on : distribution boards ; generators ; change over switches ; Transformers. Performs troubleshooting on pumps; boreholes ; lights and Switches ; Installation of LV products.

Carries out preventative maintenance, inspects electrical systems and replacing old wiring and insulated cables and ensure compliance with codes to issue COC.

Maintains OHAS Act requirements in field at All times, adheres to standards, procedures, Housekeeping, Health and Safety procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric
- Relevant Technical Qualification
- Electrical Trade test Certificate
- Wireman’s license
- NQF Level 4 - Electrical
- Valid drivers' license
- Reliable Own Transport to get to work
- Strong Electrical Maintenance skills
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrician / performing electrical repairs
- Excellent physical condition and to do Standby
- Good communication skills - Fluent in English (Read and Write)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to distinguish colours
- Ability to plan and organize
- Ability to work at heights

Pay: R10,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
