**Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities**:

- Delivers high-quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
- Reviews and verifies invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
- Inspects delivery vehicle and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Contacts customers to confirm delivery details If required.
- Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducts safety reviews.
- Maintains delivery logs and records.
- Will be assisting in stores with picking and packing when not busy with deliveries.

**Work Hours ** Monday to Friday 8:00 till 17:00

**Delivery Driver Skills / Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skill in both Afrikaans and English
- Organisational skills
- Physically fit and healthy since the job requires a lot of lifting and carrying or parcels and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes. Proven experience with delivering to universities will score additional points
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:

- High school diploma/ Grade 12
- Valid South African driver’s license code 8 minimum
- **At least 5 years delivery experience non-negotiable**:

- Clean driving record and respect traffic laws

**Salary**: R12 500,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Delivery: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English and Afrikaans (required)

License/Certification:

- South African Drivers license (required)
