Chief Executive Officer

A non-profit company based in the Biological Sciences industry, seeks to fill the CEO position. The main function of this role is to provide the necessary expertise and support to the whole organisation and perform all functions as outlined below to ensure the CPGR operates efficiently and effectively.

**Qualifications and Skills required**:

- Preferably, 10 years’ proven experience in a Senior Management role, including 5 years at an executive-level within the biomedical or biological biotechnology industry.
- PhD degree in the field of Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Medical sciences (or equivalent), would be advantageous.
- MBA with at least 5 years’ proven experience in leading a multifaceted team, is preferred.
- Successful fund-raising experience.
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to effectively interact with technical, scientific staff, research management and government stakeholders.
- Relational and visionary leadership

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Board-level reporting and analysis.
- Read, setup and negotiate and close contracts, including opining on legal issues and work with a legal team.
- Develop portfolios to achieve greatest possible ROI.
- Developing and managing annual budgets.
- Accountable for Financial & Risk Management.
- Analysis and validation of market potential of new products/ services.

**Advantageous**:

- Practical experience in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001:2008 and 2015, ISO 15189 or 17025..
