Master Electrician

Join this international manufacturing company as a Master Electrician

You will be responsible for:

- Electrical installation and maintenance.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, industrial equipment and apparatus and fixtures.
- Identify, report, and rectify all technical areas of concern on industrial electrical equipment.
- DiagnosIng malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and continuity of circuits.
- Perform duties in a work environment that will be hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced.
- Perform physical activities (capable of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs.
- Connecting of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
- Observing and following all safety regulations and use of required PPE.
- Work safely and report on safety hazards or issues.

Qualifications and experience sought:

- Trade Tested Electrician (N6 or above)
- Wireman’s license (required)
- PLC’s experience (required).
- Skilled in schematic drawings and interpretation (required)
- Min 5 years (post qualification ) in a manufacturing factory environment (required).
- Experience in Managing/Supervising a department
- Computer literate - MS Office suite
- Driver’s License
- Attention to detail; precision
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and follow instructions
- Hard worker, Self-motivated, Team Player
- Qualified and experienced in 3 Phase Industrial Electrical installations (Red Seal).
- PLC experience as well as build & repair electrical panels.
- Have an in-depth understanding of electrical principles and drawings
- Conduct Fabrication planned maintenance.
- Working knowledge in DC, AC, single phase, 2-phase, 3-phase, 230V, 380V, and industrial troubleshooting.
- Safe and proficient use of workshop tools both hand and power
