Maintenance Handyman

A well-established estate in the hospitality industry is looking for a hardworking, organized and presentable individual with excellent all-round maintenance skills.

The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, which requires the ability to multi-task.

**Experience and requirements**:

- **Driver’s Licence is essential**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ general electrical, plumbing, and maintenance
- Property maintenance experience would be advantageous
- Experience with aircon and solar will be beneficial
- Knowledge and handling of electrical tools and equipment critical

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the facilities and equipment and irrigation system are well maintained and in good working order.
- Work in a team to complete all maintenance roles scheduled both indoors and outdoors.
- Perform and complete all duties with mínimal efficiency and be results-orientated.
- Responds to maintenance requests in the minimum possible time.
- Utilise various systems to manage the use of supplies and stock available.
- Reduce any accident or damage to equipment, loss of tools and supplies.
- Adhere to Health and Safety standards.

**Area of Operation**:
The Estate and surrounding venue are on the R45 Main Road from Franschhoek to the Pniel turnoff.

**Salary**:
Salary is between R8,500 - R9,500-00 per month and based on experience and expertise and will be discussed at the interview stage.
