Seeking Experienced and Engaging Au Pair for School Pickup and Childcare

Description: We are a busy family seeking a reliable, responsible, and nurturing au pair to join our household and provide attentive care for our 5 year old daughter. With our increased workload, we are in need of an au pair who can pick up our daughter from school, facilitate educational activities, prepare meals, and assist with her bedtime routine.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick up our daughter from school promptly at 1:30 PM and ensure her safe transportation home.
- Engage our daughter in educational and interactive activities during the afternoon, fostering her intellectual development and creativity.
- Prepare and serve nutritious lunches and snacks for our daughter.
- Facilitate any extracurricular activities and transport our daughter to and from these activities.
- Encourage playtime, including coloring, painting, and other age-appropriate activities.
- Prepare and serve dinner, ensuring a balanced and healthy meal for our daughter.
- Assist with bathing our daughter and getting her ready for bed, including putting her in her pajamas.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for our daughter.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in childcare, preferably with children of similar age.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for our daughter.
- Knowledge of educational activities suitable for her age group.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Non-smoker.

Schedule and Compensation: The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will be competitive based on experience and qualifications.
