The**Test Technician **is responsible for designing and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of a product. They are involved in all phases of the testing program, from designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, and writing up final test procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meeting with the product design team to determine product testing parameters.
- Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product.
- Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures.
- Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
- Writing up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
- Training the quality assurance staff and providing technical support when needed.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
- Preparing test reports for management.
- Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards)
- Inspect raw materials and machinery to identify defects and malfunctions.
- Monitor all production stages to ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Run quality controls on components and final products.
- Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards (e.g. ISO).
- Writing test plans and procedures and creating test setup drawings for all phases of product development, including prototypes and production models.
- Testing electrical components by measuring resistance, capacitance, inductance, voltage drop, or other parameters.
- Monitoring equipment performance and making adjustments as needed to ensure accurate results.
- Reviewing test data for conformance to standards or specifications to ensure proper operation of components.
- Reporting test results by recording measurements and observations in diagrams, tables, or other formats.
- Evaluating test data for anomalies or other inconsistencies which may indicate a problem with the product.
- Creating reports and presenting findings to management or engineering teams.
- Operating electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to measure voltage, current, resistance, and other parameters.
- Performing research and development on new products or processes.
- Develop, manage and perform testing of product, unit and integration.
- Plan and conduct test along with evaluate test results.
- Ensure all design activities for project are performed conforming to external and internal requirements.
- Develop documentation related with electrical project as well as engineering activities.
- Prepare drawings and component specifications.
- Design verifications for test protocols, reports and different new and revised operating methods.
- Perform with CAD designers to prepare electrical solutions and drawings.
- Perform with engineers to develop part and component parameters.
- Develop protocols along with test reports for verification of design testing working with project teams.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
- Previous work experience as a test engineer.
- Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
- Familiarity with various testing techniques.
- Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with testing tools including Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, and LabVIEW.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
- Knowledge of quality standards and regulations.
- Great troubleshooting skills.
- Analytical mindset.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to project manage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
- High-level technical writing skills.
- No criminal record.
