Managing and controlling the debtors ledger

Contacting customers after monthly payments are allocated

Contacting overdue customers during the month

Recording details of all customer interactions

Dealing with requests for invoices and statements

Ensuring monthly targets are met

Advising customers of their credit limits

Preparing accounts for legal handover

Reconciling all payments to invoices

Ensuring journals are allocated to the correct invoices

Rectifying any errors encountered

Resolving customer claims and queries

Requesting PODs and checking price differences

Creating regular credit reports, etc.

Matric essential

A credit management qualification will be an advantage

At least 3 years experience as a Corporate/Commercial Credit Controller

Experience in the wholesale and retail environment

Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

Experience loading invoices on customer portals

Experience using an ERP system such as SAP
