**Job Specification, Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Accurate loading of trucks for routes according to picking sheets,
- Physically inspect product for quality before loading onto trucks,
- Pick and palletize orders as needed before loading onto trucks,
- Manage a team of pickers while preparing orders,
- Retrieve any product needed for the day from other warehouses,
- Ensure adequate stock rotation,
- Assist management in maintaining/implementation of company policies and food safety standards,
- Investigate stock shorts and resolve any stock variances or issues,
- Assist management with weekly stock takes and implementation of stock controls,
- Adhere to and carry out weighbridge procedures and policies,
- Assist management with vehicle maintenance inspections and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent,
- Minimum of 3 years warehouse/dispatch experience required,
- Processing, wholesale or retail experience preferred,
- Familiarity with vehicle loading practices and handling methods,
- Good communication skills,
- Must be able to work with all levels within the organisation,
- Ability to handle multiple tasks,
- Must have drivers license and own transport,
- Forklift license and ability to drive a forklift preferable.
