PURPOSE
Positions exist to safely operate Dump Truck to support the site operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Adherence to safe operation of Articulated Dump Truck in line with manufacturer operator's manual
Conducting a walk-around inspection, complete pre-start checks
Good-Housekeeping of the equipment, Identify substandard and hazardous conditions, assess and take appropriate action
Organize and manage activities responsibly and effectively
Comply with specified requirements and the consequence to health, safety and environment
Ensure proper housekeeping and appropriate PPE is always worn/used
Working safe by preventing injuries and other incidents
Report and assist on formulating corrective measures against all substandard acts and conditions
Ensure that risk assessments are conducted prior to all activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Matric/Grade 12
Dump Truck Operating License
Code 14 Drivers License
Security Clearance
3 years’ operating a dump truck
