**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
QUALIFICATION: Matric. Relevant Certificate / Diploma
EXPERIENCE: 2 years in a similar role

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Procurement
- Promote good procurement practice with sustainability and costings
- Analyse supplier database
- Source and interview vendors
- Negotiate contracts and costs
- Determine the best price, taking quality and longevity in to account
- Review, compare and analyse products and services to be purchased
- Work with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
- Prepare requisitions for purchase orders
- Initiate record orders
- Receive, inspect and distribute deliveries
- Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with suppliers
- Monitor delivery times to make sure they are on time
- Accounts to be submitted for payment to vendors on time
- Responsible for order placement and timing, supply/demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance.
- Monitor supplier performance on a regular basis
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Control and monitor expenses against approved budgets
- Develop sourcing strategies
- Cost saving initiatives
- Payment terms negotiation, optimisation and management
- Maintain contracts with vendors
- Review inventory and update as required
Policies and procedures
- Request of compliance of all company polices and procurement procedures from all restaurants, bars and external properties
- Request of compliance of the company procurement policy from all preferred supplier
- Creating, amending and implementation of procurement policies for the benefit of the company and operations.

- Aiding and guiding all staff under him / her
- Undertake other related duties that may be requested by management due to the nature and character of the post.
