**Job description**:
As a desktop publisher at Christian Art, you'll be crucial in crafting top-notch publications. Your skills in layout design, typography, and digital graphics will shape raw content into engaging materials.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Typeset manuscripts according to approved formatting and layout guidelines.
Design page layouts that optimise readability and visual appeal.
Utilise industry-standard software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite, to execute design projects.
Conduct thorough reviews of layouts and proofs to identify and correct errors.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout the production process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate closely with editorial, design, and production teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Communicate effectively with team members to exchange feedback, address challenges, and implement solutions.

**Desired experience and qualification**:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a desktop publisher, graphic designer, or similar role.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite.
