Hard Landscaping General Assistant

To be responsible for achieving average value budget and assisting customers with advice.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist customers with advice through continuously updating your product knowledge
- Perform sales in the Hard landscaping Department in such a way that average value is achieved and improved upon
- Assist customers in selecting the right product for his need by providing advice
- Assist with the maintenance of standards in the Department by checking on watering, sweeping, trimming etc and liaising with the Outside Sales Assistant
- Discarding of dead plants/broken products where applicable
- Assist in the arrangement of weekend supplies
- Record all customer requests and following them through with the Manager
- Maintain good customer relations like smiling and greeting each customer
- Maintain all displays and merchandise to promote sales
- Perform any other tasks as required by Senior Management to ensure the continued smooth operation of the company and to meet the company aim of high standards and high customer service

**STAFF DEVELOPMENT**:

- Expected to be familiar with Stodels Product Knowledge, Sales to Customers, Guarantees, Customer Satisfaction
- Expected to undergo job related training from time to time.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bergvliet, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Language**:

- English fluently (required)
