Job Title: Brand Relations & Sales - BR&S - Manager

Division: Quintessentially South Africa

Reporting to: Regional CEO

Hours of work: Contractual hours are from 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

On-going requirement to work at Q-related events & on-site initiatives - outside of normal office hours.

Job Summary: The BR&S Manager is responsible for selecting, developing and maintaining supplier relationships to support the daily running of a luxury Lifestyle service within our Corporates.

The BRM will play a key role in assisting the Lifestyle Team in the proactive offering received by our members and will be responsible for helping manage our portfolio of contacts, as well as assisting the Lifestyle Managers in nurturing their current contacts in order to provide the best possible opportunities for our members. Supplier management is vital in providing
Quintessentially Lifestyle Corporate Accounts with added-value benefits, corporate rates and VIP treatment throughout the course of their Membership in line with our Client’s Corporate strategy.

Also, the BR&S Manager remit is to generate revenue for Quintessentially
Lifestyle via the selling of individual Memberships to targeted clients
(potential ‘Members’).

Through in-depth research, proactively generating leads & networking, the
BR&S Manager will act as a Brand Ambassador and initial potential Individual
Member point of contact in Johannesburg. The BR&S Manager is responsible for the acquisition of reactive & proactive Memberships and retention of existing Members for the local office.

Main duties & **Brand Relations**:
responsibilities to include but not limited to**:Secure member benefits and opportunities for Quintessentially’s private**

& corporate account members in line with the contractually agreed guidelines.
- Identify & initiate new relationships with appropriate lifestyle-related, Q- worthy suppliers (hotels, restaurants, clubs, ticket agents, Top 5-10 listings in each category).
- Negotiate favourable Member benefits - added value & preferential rates.

- Extend supplier knowledge to management and lifestyle team keeping them informed about new supplier information; via website tips, Q Force, the newsletter, direct coaching.
- Organizing locally based familiarisation experiences at hotels, restaurants, etc and bringing suppliers in-house to present overviews to the Lifestyle team.
- Complete and manage a supplier benefit pool and Master Spreadsheets for QSA, records of supplier contact information, contract & benefits. This needs to be updated monthly.
- Evaluating current suppliers and developing new supplier relationships.
- Researching & consideration of luxury trends - according to Membership demographics.
- Support the Head of Service, Corporate Account Managers, Events

Manager and Communications team in creating meaningful and successful relationships with relevant suppliers.
- Assist with the creation of Quintessentially ‘What’s On’ monthly offering and all the other communications shared with Quintessentially private & corporate members.
- Assist with the upkeep of the Preferred Supplier Document, and supplier records on CRM, QForce
- Consistently research events, new openings, new potential partners, and access across a number of platforms and seek access to those of interest.
- Collaborate with the Events Manager in coordinating, managing and executing member experiences and events on time, within budget.

**Acquisition of New Members**:

- Proactively identify potential leads for individual Membership.

**Other**:

- Assist in preparing any sales documentation according to the regional sales and marketing strategy and keep these updated at all times.

- Provide support to Lifestyle team should workload permit.
- Communicate leads and opportunities within QSA, which will benefit other areas of the operation.
- Promoting the exclusive nature and the up-market image of Q on all appropriate occasions, especially externally, selectively ensuring that focus is maintained on the target market at all times.
- Investigating innovative new ways to build and promote company brand.

Knowledge sought**:Work background in any of the following sectors/areas: Sales, Customer**

Service, Guest Relations, Lifestyle and or Account Management,
Hospitality, luxury travel & leisure, Business Development & Marketing.
- Experienced handling of executives, senior executives, VIP’s, personalities, celebrities, persons of social standing.
- In-depth understanding of requirements involved in the lifestyle management of affluent, high-net worth individuals.
- Premium contact address book spanning all major industries (HR, PR,

Media, Finance, Hospitality & Travel Tourism, Real Estate, Q-worthy suppliers).
- Possess a minimum of 2-4 years Sales and/or Customer Service experience.
- Good knowledge of worldwide travel destinations & luxury products/services, given that our Members are based around the globe & request info regarding p
