Ambulance Emergency Assistant

**Requirements**:

- Matric compulsory
- Appropriate Life Support qualification (ILS - AEA) BMR trained an advantage
- At least 5 years’ experience at the appropriate level
- Valid Driver’s License Code EB and higher and valid PDP License
- Registration with HPCSA at an ILS Level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Ability to work shifts
- High energy levels and tolerance for stress
- Adaptable and able to work effectively within a team

**Key Outputs**:

- Ensure the efficient handling and operational readiness of emergency calls
- Administer patient care in line with scope of practice
- Ensure the safe and rapid transportation of patients to the desired medical facility
- Working at events when required to
- Ensure the accurate completion and administration of all medical reports
- Uphold high ethical and professional standards
- Respond constructively to pressure and persevere through challenges
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Athlone, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
