Accounts and Payroll Controller

A busy medium sized electrical contracting company based in **Westmead, Pinetown** has a vacancy for an Accounts and Payroll Controller. This is a permanent position. As the Administration team is small the successful applicant will need to show initiative and work unsupervised.

Applicants should have:

- must have own transport due to location of workplace
- experience using pastel accounts and payroll essential
- experience working with Jobsys a strong recommendation
- accuracy and close attention to detail essential
- minimum grade 12 with a bookkeeping qualification
- experience working in construction industry recommended
- good customer and problem solving skills
- Word and Excel skills at intermediate (or higher) level essential

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Capture job cards into JobSYS daily which is linked to Pastel Accounting.
- Invoice clients and suppliers
- Capture of attendance of staff at sites for payroll purposes
- Process payments on Pastel payroll (weekly and monthly salaries)

**Salary**: R14,000.00 - R16,000.00 per month
