SBV currently seeks a technology coordinator to support the maintenance of SBV’s information technology administration, frameworks, systems and networks performing both technical and administrative functions to ensure functionality and efficiency within the environment.

**Conduct research to improve the technological products and services of SBV**
- Identify competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of SBV and submit recommendations to Senior Technology Management
- Research and source technology products and services that will benefit SBV’s purpose, employees and clients
- Consistently evaluate the technical efficiency of all SBV hardware and software, provide recommendation for improvements or changes
- Provide input into the policies and SOPs which can improve the overall adoption of technology at SBV
- Research competing suppliers for best-service, price and support alternatives to put forward to senior IT leadership

**Drive discussions about future planning and development of new technologies and services with relevant stakeholders**
- Establish and drive the relative Technology forums to define and review selected IT Services and Technologies
- Accountable for progress reporting and driving the deliverable outcomes
- Liaise with suppliers for advice or recommendations on new technologies and service offerings adhering to project methodology and principles
- Liaise with suppliers and team members to meet project deadlines

**Relationship management of both internal and external technology vendors**
- Perform assessments and report on costs, licensing models and exposure by providing the Technology MANCO team with monthly oversight / reporting
- Understand IT & business requirements in order to research and advise on the most cost-effective decisions on hardware, software, licensing training and support
- Track and review vendor spend against plan and maintain that vendors benchmark performance against cost
- Provide feedback to MANCO members and use this information to research more efficient models / solutions
- Submit escalations to the CTO
- Align with the procurement team as well as relevant stakeholders for the supply of technology and maintain a detailed preferred supplier list

**Compile monthly software and hardware asset reports and monitor the document repository**
- Report and oversee IT assets (Hardware and Software) management by confirming that governance/processes and monthly reporting is in place
- Design and implement processes to certify that licences /software licence exposure is not at risk to SBV. Monitor and escalate where required
- Confirm that all important data and documents supporting the IT governance processes are accessible to relevant users with necessary access and permission settings
- Monitor compliance to the Technology processes and framework

**Facilitate the administration within the Technology Division**
- Produce and format documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations within the Technology division and provide suggestions for reporting optimisation periodically
- Review incoming documents and correspondence for accuracy and validity while managing timelines with the owners of tasks
- Manage the Technology Manco Tracker actions and minutes repository ensuring actions are tracked and delivered against stipulated closure dates with responsible Manco members
- Conduct adequate planning and communication to support departmental objectives
- Establish, implement, and enforce appropriate IT standards to meet business requirements by obtaining approval to implement the process based on the standards provided by Department Heads
- Perform administrative duties that may include, but are not limited to, reporting on quality of service, assessing the quality of IT procedures & governance / artefacts
- Conduct financial administration such as identifying financial discrepancies, administering financial reviews and creating financial reports
- Work with the CTO and Manco to manage awareness of impeding tasks/ deadlines
- Review, update and format various contracts and service level agreements to maintain consistency

**Work Experience**:

- 5 years’ experience in general technology related administration, of which must encompass:

- Strong technical skills and understanding of the platform and tools - on premise and cloud - including the enterprise content management systems
- IT licencing and budget tracking experience
- Experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders and vendors
- IT infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of IT security practices and protocols
- Experience implementing integration architecture
