**Support the Clinic Occupational Nursing Sister with running the clinic as an OHNP, carry out administrative tasks related to the management of the clinic**

Minimum Qualifications, Years of Work Experience:

- Grade 12
- Diploma/Degree in General Nursing, Community Health, Midwifery, Psychiatry (essential)
- Dispensing Qualification and License (advantageous)
- Certificate, /National Diploma or BTech in Occupational Health Nursing
- Audiometry Certificate (advantageous)
- Registration with SASOHN
- Spirometry Certificate (advantageous)
- Registration with SANC (essential)
- Valid driver’s license (essential )
- Minimum 1 Year relevant experience in a primary health

Key Accountabilities/Objectives
- Controlling medical waste and medication
- Targeted employee health monitoring is done in accordance with the risks to which each employee may be exposed and in keeping with the inherent requirements of the employee’s job
- Carry out the administrative and operational activities of the Clinic to ensure the safekeeping of records and drugs while maintaining confidentiality.
- Evaluate, treat and report Occupational injuries and illnesses in line with clinical nursing guidelines and keeping with the relevant legislation (COID Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, The Nursing Act, and The Medicines and related substances control Act).
- Conduct walkthrough as well as health risk assessment with the OHMP
- Assist in the coordination of wellness programs to educate and create an awareness of potential health risks and promote good health.
- Provide a Primary Health Care service that includes Monitoring of Chronic conditions
- Responsible for capturing and reporting the statistics on injuries, occupational diseases, and sick notes to track the trends and identify areas of potential risk.
- Education, counseling, and presentation on health to create awareness
