Job & Company Description:
A diversified Property development company based in Morningside, Durban are looking for a Property Portfolio manager to join their team.

Qualification:
Matric

LLB Degree

Experience and Skills Required:

- 3-5 years’ experience as a Portfolio manager
- Good Property Knowledge
- Strong Networking capability
- Ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience in Leases and legal contracts
- Working knowledge of Financials
- In-depth understanding of the entire office suite
- Professional level of verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision
- making skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Key deliverables:
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Proactive Management of the property portfolio
- Marketing vacancies
- Lease re-newel proposals
- Proposals for new rental opportunities
- Market research - Logistics
- Attend Broker functions
- Drafting of leases
- Site visits and property inspections
- Tenant liaison
- Arrear rental management
- Negotiating and drafting of lease agreements
- Contract and lease management
- Instructing external attorneys in terms of instituting and

defending legal matters, as and when required
- Monitoring and reporting in terms of legal matters
