Mine Overseer

Project is based in Matla.
- The maximum amount as specified in the salary range will not be exceeded.
- This is a 12-month contract

**PURPOSE**
- To assist Manager with day-to-day management of the mine in area of responsibility.
- Responsible for the managing and directing of various activities within a specified section of the mine.
- To ensure specified targets are met and allocated resources are used effectively.

**Job Requirements**

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate Competency Mine Overseer (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate Blasting For Fiery Mines (Essential/Minimum)
- N Dip: Mining Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)
- Trade: Miner Underground MQA/QCTO Accred (Essential/Minimum)
- B Tech Mining (Recommended/Desirable) or
- BEng Mining Engineering (Recommended/Desirable)
- Only South African Citizens

**Experience**:
5 years relevant experience within a heavy industry, mining or production environment of which at least 2 years specific exposure as Production Foreman or Shift Leader is recommended

Must have Minimum 5 years experience in Drilling & Blasting on Fiery Mines
Must have Minimum 5 years experience as a Mine Overseer
Must be Trade: Miner Underground MQA/QCTO Accred

**Salary**: R101,230.00 - R106,000.00 per month
