**Job purpose**:
Responsible for supporting the operational management of investment funds managed by Edge Growth Ventures, the Senior Fund Administrator is accountable for the reporting and delivery of operations, finance, compliance, stakeholder management, and legal procedures to ensure seamless business delivery of fund operations and administration. The role is further responsible for continuous process improvement and analysis and a drive to deliver more with less including the implementation of projects outside of the day-to-day scope of the operations team such as best practice trend analysis, specialized fund administration, process optimisation and policy training.

**Core activities**:
**Operations and Stakeholder Management**:

- Support Operations Management activities for new and existing Funds.
- Support ad hoc Fund operations and administration functions including, report preparation and minute taking at board meetings and steering committee meetings.
- Manage stakeholder relations, reporting, communications and deliver an innovative stakeholder relations matrix / framework.
- Understand Fund operational policies and procedures.
- Prepare training material, coordinate and facilitate the rollout of training on internal policies to internal teams (eg. Investor Relations).
- Support capital raising processes and initiatives.
- Co-develop and maintain operating model needed to provide necessary support to stakeholders and broader team, including several
- Provide input into fund operations team meetings.
- Support IP development and knowledge management.

**Communication**:

- Proven report writing and critical thinking skills.
- Manage the writing and review of minutes for key meetings.
- Interface with key stakeholders on ad hoc communications Schedule, coordinate and manage Fund events.

**Process and Project Management**:

- Able to own and implement end-to-end process for projects and initiatives within the Fund Operations environment.
- Understands concepts of Project Management within an agile business environment.
- Suggest and implement operational improvement processes including digitising manual processes.
- Identifies opportunities for business process automation, optimisation and data migration within the Fund Operations environment.
- Manage ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma with strong problem solving and quantitative underpinning (e.g. Commerce, Business Science)
- Business Operations, Financial Management, Compliance and / or Project Management training
- MBA, Project Management or SAICA qualification advantageous

**Experience**:

- 3 - 5 years experience in financial services, operations, finance, project management or business consulting.
- Client and stakeholder relationship management experience would be favourable.
