Senior Bookkeeper

**PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION**

The Company is looking for a diligent Senior Bookkeeper to be responsible for supporting decision-making and overseeing of financial information. The financial accountant's responsibilities include producing budgets, overseeing tax payments, and conducting internal audits.

**JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Job tasks and responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:

- Processing Invoices and Stock Items
- Reconciliation of Creditors
- Liaise with suppliers
- Daily / Monthly Bank Recons
- Updating Payment Schedules
- Loading and Verifying payments
- Maintaining the petty cash
- Working directly with the Financial Manager & Director
- Overseeing the Accounts teams (Processing clerks)
- Preparing reports
- Budgeting for Month End
- Duties are not limited to the above

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric
- Relevant Qualifications will be an advantage

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have proven track record of at least 5 years work experience in a similar position
- Must be hard working and attention to detail
- Leadership qualities
- Ability to work in a team or individually when required
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
