**Responsibilities**: Handling of tasks such as scheduling, events planning, facility management, communication, and any administrative work within the church.

**Key functions**: An Administrator ensures that the day-to-day administrative functions run smoothly, including managing office operations, maintaining records, and coordinating various church activities.

**Areas of responsibility**:
a) **Plan and Coordinate Church Calendar**: Give general direction to the weekday operation of the church services, work with the head of ministry in planning and coordinating efficient service programs.

b) **Coordinating, planning, and executing church events**: Collaborate with church teams to plan and coordinate events, including meetings, workshop services, special services, conferences, and social gatherings.

c) **Facility management**: Overseeing church facility maintenance and security operations including maintenance, scheduling, and ensuring that they are conducive to worship and other activities.

d) **Communication**: Handling church communications and publications. Serve as a liaison between congregation, church staff, external stakeholders, and leadership, conveying important information and announcements through various channels. This may include church websites, newsletters, and social media accounts.

e) **Record-keeping**: Accurately input and maintain church records and databases pertaining to membership, baptisms, cleansing, weddings, baby dedication, funerals, and other church activities using the church management software. Follow-up with first time visitors within a week of visiting to church.

f) **Policy and Procedure Development**: Developing and implementing policies and procedures that govern the church’s operations and decision-making process.

g) **Leadership and Ministries Support**:Providing Administrative support to church leaders, Pastors, and staff members to help them focus on their spiritual and pastoral responsibilities.

h) **Resource allocation**:Allocating resources, including time, money, and personnel, to support the church’s ministries and programs. Recruit and schedule volunteers for church activities and events, ensuring adequate coverage and support.

i) **Time Sheets**:keeping time sheets for church workers.

j) **Financial Support**:Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing donations, preparing deposits, and reconciling accounts.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Commitment to Jesus Christ evidenced by a personal relationship.
- Proven work experience working as a church administrator or a similar role.
- Administrative ability to organize clearly and communicate effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate office equipment.
- Knowledge of computer systems, including electronic communication software, and membership software.
- Timely and consistent attendance, and availability in the evenings for committee and church meetings.
- Commitment to upholding the values and mission of the church.
- Ability to keep confidential and sensitive information.
- Has belief in biblical principles including tithes, baptised in water, willing to commit to the church and live a godly life.
