Bottomer Machine Operator

Leading manufacturing group are seeking an experienced Bottomer Machine Operator and Technician to work at their Mobeni plant in Durban, South Africa.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**

1. Set up complex jobs

2. Waste to be within machine target

3. Ensure that the machinery is operating to set standards and is operating at Optimal Performance level without compromising quality and safety standards.

4. Machine maintenance and safety measures.

5. Quality of bags as per AQL

6. Implement the relevant procedures, strategies and use the proper equipment to promote regulatory requirements and activities for the protection of data, people, institutions, and property.

7. Bags that are run:

- Open mouth
- Stepped end
- Hinge and pipe
- Both end label print
- Small, ,medium and large sacks
- Arcomat experience

8. Ensure that the assembled products are conform to the specifications given.

9. Check products for quality on the production line and remove defective items before and after packaging

**REQUIREMENTS**

1. Minimum Grade 12

**2. 3 - 6 Years’ experience as Bottomer working on the Windmoller and/or Holscher machines essential (essential)**

3. Be able to fault find and run optimum speed

4. Must be technically minded

5. Read and write English

6. Computer literate

7. Good communication skills (verbal & written).

8. Pro active

9. Willing to work within the respective Shift system

10. Willing and able to work overtime as and when required

11. Ability to work independently and as a team.

12. Reliable, punctual & responsible

**RUMUNERATION**

R150 Per Hour (Permanent Position)

**Salary**: R150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
