**Collections Agent job description**
- Dealing with both Inbound & Outbound calls
- Rehabilitate student accounts in an effective and professional manner
- Responsible for contacting students to negotiate payment arrangements on the outstanding balance and attempting to collect the payments
- Develop payment plans with students and negotiate settlements
- Maintain accurate records of all student interactions on company systems
- Conduct service calls to all students and ensure resolution to their queries
- Attend to general collections inquiries and provide feedback within company SLA
- To achieve Customer Satisfaction at all times
- Act as a team player to achieve the Collections rate

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 Certificate
- Must have at least 2 years Collections experience in a call centre environment
- Good command of English and an additional language
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Computer literacy; must be efficient, account management, collections systems
- Must be numerate and have strong attention to detail
- The drive to improve the collections rate
- Available to work as per company schedule

We are based in Bellville South, Cape Town.
