**MOTORCYCLE SALESMAN**

**Main Purpose of the Role**
- To Identify and pursue opportunities within the dealer network for optimizing
- sales and market penetration.
- **Reports to**:

- Aftersales and Team Leader-AMP

**Internal Team Interaction**:

- (Information, support, advice): Product Managers, Commercial Managers, Sales Support Managers, Credit, Shipping, Warehouse: exchange of information, advice and support.

**External Team Interaction**:

- Information, support, advice, persuasion/negotiation): Dealers: exchange of information, support, advice, persuasion, and negotiation (within specified parameters).

Suppliers, service providers: exchange of information, support, advice, persuasion.

**1.Reporting and feedback**

Maintain a high level of feedback and interaction with Team Leaders, Sales Representatives, and General Managers in respect to dealer issues, problems, concerns, suggestions, etc.

**2.Customer Service**
- Maintain good relationships at all times with both internal departments and dealers to improve functional efficiency.
- To ensure that all matters within your sphere of responsibility and influence are accurate and exceed the expectations of all dealers with regard to response times, professional content, and commitments.
- Maintain company Core Values at all times.
- Customer satisfaction Excellent dealer communication.

**3. Promote Sales**
- Make sales calls and dealer visits in line with business objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge of current and new products.
- Respond to dealer requests for product information and pricing queries.
- Sales with each dealer optimized
- Dealer maintains brand and product image.

**4. Ordering Processing**
- Liaise with dealers on stock availability /no-availability and credit limits.
- Capture orders into the system including backorders.
- Ensure dealers are always aware of their order status
- Resolve order queries.
- Records current and accessible

**5. Technical Sales**
- Demonstrate specialist products information in support of sales
- Display advanced technical knowledge of products
- Call on dealers as per call cycle and supported by telephone contract
- Review product and brand exposure in-store
- Persuade dealers to carry optimum stock relative to store profile

**6. Team Work**
- Support the Team Leader, Sales Manager, and General Managers in achieving sales objectives.
- Participate at promotions and trade shows as and when required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
