Silver Solutions based in Durban Kwa-Zulu Natal is looking for a Battery/Electronic Technician to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, building and repair of electronic systems, with a particular focus on batteries for Material Handling Equipment and associated components.

Your role may involve working with a range of electronic devices, circuitry, and battery technologies. The objective is to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of electronic systems, especially those involving energy storage.

**Responsibilities**:
**Installation and Configuration**:
Install and configure electronic systems, including batteries, battery management systems, and associated control electronics.

Set up and calibrate electronic equipment to meet specifications.

**Maintenance and Repairs**:
Perform routine maintenance on electronic systems to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose and repair faults in electronic circuits, components, and associated systems.

Replace faulty components and conduct thorough testing to validate repairs.

**Battery Management**:
Monitor and manage battery performance, including charging and discharging processes.

Implement strategies to optimize battery life and efficiency.

**Testing and Troubleshooting**:
Conduct testing and diagnostic procedures on electronic systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic components, circuits, and interfaces.

**Collaboration**:
Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and relevant stakeholders to solve complex electronic problems.

Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

**Quality Control**:
Ensure that all electronic work meets quality standards and specifications.

Conduct inspections and testing to verify the integrity of electronic systems.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
A degree or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is an added advantage.

**Experience**:
Proven experience as an Electronic/ Battery Technician, with a focus on batteries and energy storage systems.

Familiarity with various electronic components and battery technologies.

**Skills**:

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic schematics and diagrams.
- Knowledge of electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.

**Certifications**:
Relevant certifications in electronics or battery technology are an advantage

Ability to Commute:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (required)

Ability to Relocate:
