Phlebotomy Technician

**Requirements**:
HPCSA Certificate: Phlebotomy techniques - proof of certification must be attached

Active HPCSA Registration - proof of current registration must be attached

Must Be CPD compliant

Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Phlebotomy and must be able to collect samples from critically ill patients in hospital as well as be able to perform paediatric blood collections.

Experience in pathology laboratory environment necessary

**A driving licence will be an added advantage.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered,

Perform phlebotomy procedures within the scope of practice,

Perform phlebotomy related administrative tasks

Provide quality customer service to clients

Maintain a clean and healthy work environment

Perform quality control checks pertaining to phlebotomy

Manage control order and usage of stock and consumables.

Must be able to work day and night shift and public holidays and weekends

Have good communication and management skills.

Have a good understanding of staff and leadership qualities.

Be punctual, trustworthy, and reliable.

Good organization skills, ability to analyze and improve work processes.

Must be available to commence duty on 18/9/2023

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
