**Key activities include**:

- Mentoring the Merchandise Planning Team to accelerate their development. So that we can live without you.
- Projecting future sales into key categories. So we know what to go and get more of.
- Optimize our planning processe...Getting us slicker than a used car salesman.
- Management of the range assortments and replenishment - keep the stores fresher than the washing.
- Management and implementation of distribution strategy e.g. analysing stores profiles & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster - that fun, nerdy excel stuffthrow in a few graphs to wow the bosses.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as a Product Planner (5+ years' essential)
- A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work - turn cents into rands and lemons into lemonade
- Computer literacy in word, excel and planning systems - essentially a digital treasure hunt
- Strong business acumen and merchant thinking - spot a deal & make it happen
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills - teamwork makes the dream work
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - #hustling for our customers
- Proven decision-making ability - #empowered
- Strong affiliation to systems, particularly PMM and Instagram
