**Your Role**

At our beautiful Belo Monte Hotel on the Island of Príncipe (São Tomé & Príncipe) we are looking for a Dive instructor - Activities Manager. At Belo Monte Hotel we offer expeditions and activities like guided car and quad tours, hikes, diving, kayaking, snorkelling, boat and even helicopter tours. You will have many responsibilities in this wide role. For example: develop and introduce new activities, training recreational employees, coordinate the events, ensuring guests safety and making sure all administration is updated. In this role you will be reporting to the general manager and supervise recreational staff or volunteers.

**What are you going to do**
- Conduct and manage all land and marine-based excursions and activities for clients of Belo Monte Hotel.
- Certification and baptisms of clients into the PADI diving program.
- Exploration and creation of new activities and excursions for the client base of Belo Monte Hotel.
- Engagement in marine and land-based conservation projects as well coordination with project team and clients.
- Make sure our guests are having the best activity experience.

**What are we looking for**
- PADI certified Dive instructor;
- Valid deep sea skipper license for power watercraft;
- Current first aid training;
- Demonstrated capability to manage activities and excursion services for hotels;
- Valid driver's license;
- Fluent in English; Portuguese and French is a big plus;
- Computer literate;
- Healthy and active tendencies;
- Ability to work in a remote, beautiful, tropical nature environment

**About Belo Monte Hotel**

Belo Monte was founded in 1922 as a small coffee and cacao plantation but stopped functioning after independence in 1975.

In 2011 a small village was built close the iconic Belo Monte gate for the people still living in the buildings and many of them started to work for the hotel. The old buildings were renovated and furnished in authentic classical Portuguese style and in 2014 Belo Monte Hotel opened its doors. It is situated on one of the most beautiful spots of Príncipe on a hill surrounded by rainforest, overlooking the flame trees and jungle canopy to the ocean.
