Mechanical Fitter

**FITTER ARTISAN**

**Our client, a Blue Chip Company based in Middelburg has a vacancy for an Artisan Fitter with the following**:
**REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES**:

- N3 or Grade 12 with Maths & Science
- Must be a qualified Fitter
- Have 3-5 years post apprentice work experience as Fitter,
- Be pro-active, hardworking and demonstratehigh levels of flexibility,
- Be able to work under pressure and give attention to detail,\
- Be able to work without direct supervision,
- Be a strong team player, be bilingual and have excellent communication skills,
- Have a good mechanical knowledge,
- Be computer literate,
- Be physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heights,
- Be willing to work overtime as requested,
- Must be willing to do standby.
- The Fitter is responsible to perform fitting planned maintenance.
- Further responsibilities are as follows:

- Inspections, installation, repairs/replacement, fault finding, planned downtime maintenance and provide mechanical maintenance and breakdown support in the plant area to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency.

Our client offers a market related salary + Medical and Pension
