Mrm Manager

North West, Rustenburg (Market related) We are recruiting an MRM Manager for a Mining House in the North West Area

Mineral Resource Reporting
Compile monthly Mineral Resources progress and reports and mine planning project reports.
Compile monthly reconciliations based on planning and actual mining as well as the quality of the ore and provide to internal customers (GM; Manager Mining; Operations Manager).
Provide feedback of various planning data systems.
Compile annual resource / reserve statement reports.

Life of Mine and Long-term Mine Planning
Manage, guide and provide advice for all the planning functions - short (3 weeks), medium (3 months) and long term ( >3 years) planning.
Co-responsible for continuous life of mine studies in conjunction with Plant, Financial planners and responsible Head Office personnel.

Geology Management
Manage the various geological functions.
Ensure mining is done in line with the planned actions.
Keep abreast of ad hoc geological functions and inform all relevant stakeholders.
Manage the update of the geological models (wireframes/ solids) on a continuous basis with all relevant information and ensure model deadlines are achieved.
Implement and manage samples for QA/QC and geotechnical data collection and interpretation of such data,

MRM Processes And Systems
Act as the custodian of MRM process and systems and ensure continuous improvement in the department when benchmarked.
Implement Isometrics.
Co-develop MRM procedures, policies and standard operating procedures.
Ensure all procedures are captured accurately as per requirements.

Budget And Cost Controls
Drive and approve annual planning by compiling operational, capex and labour budgets for relevant area.
Manage the budget effectively against approved budgets (operational, capex and labour), assess variances as required and monitor remedial action within area.
Assess, review and authorize processed payments in line with approved budget and policy.

Required Education
Mine Manager Certificate of Competence
Or alternatively B Degree Engineering / Mining or equivalent

Required Experience
Minimum 10 years experience in Management (MRM / Survey / Geology)
Minimum 5 years experience in Mine Management
Knowledge and Skills MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects).
Business Objects.
CADs mine.
Project Management skills.
